DEBORAH'S JOURNAL: FALL 2012 NEW YORK FASHION WEEK
KATE SPADE - Parisian Deliciously Flirty.
Painterly prints, dreamy watercolors and polka dots of all sizes carried through everything! I did an almond-shaped nail with FADE TO BLACK topped with polka dots in I'M NOT INNOCENT, a creamy peach perfect to create that classic-whimsical blend. Polka dots nail in on trend, and it is such as easy DIY look!
BADGELY MISCHKA - Futuristic, Electrifying Elegance.
To complement the high-voltage hair, deep burgundy matte lip and metallic gold lashline, I did short-rounded nails polished with DARK SIDE OF THE MOON with a gold tip accent using NEFERTITI.
DONNA KARAN - Feminine Appeal. Eccentric Twist.
The architectural, sculpted feel of the dresses never masked the curvilinear lines of a woman's body. To celebrate feminity with a playful, sophisticated twist, I chose FASHION with SINGLE LADIES on the tip.
